Austen House isn’t just somewhere to sleep, it’s a lively student community designed to help you feel at home from day one. Here are just some of the facilities you’ll have access to as part of the residence’s communal areas: You’ll also have full support from our friendly on-site team , giving you the comfort, convenience and community you need to make the most of student life in Southampton. Austen House is home to a range of room types, making it easy to find a living space that fits your lifestyle. For those who prefer their own space, our private studios come with a comfy double bed, en-suite bathroom and well-equipped kitchenette. If you’re looking for something more social, we also offer a mix of en-suites and two-bed flats , where you can enjoy your bedroom while sharing kitchen and living spaces with other flatmates. Really enjoyed my stay at Austen House. It has an excellent location that’s a 15-minute walk from the university and 5 minutes from the shopping centre. I feel safe and secure, and the staff are really nice and easy to talk to if I have any problems. Enjoyed the time at Austen House! The room was clean and tidy when I moved in, there are many common spaces in the building, I used the study room a lot!! We have student events every week, like crafting, giveaways, sports, etc. And the staff are really nice and helpful, always willing to solve the problems.
